We encourage all of our students at BCA to participate in our sports programs. Organized sports not only gives students the opportunity to learn self-discipline, but the importance of working together as a team and showing Christian sportsmanship. We are members of the Empire State Christian Athletic League. We offer soccer, basketball, volleyball, track, golf and cheer leading opportunities to our students. We compete with other Christian schools in our league.

BCA Volleyball is Still Hot

Last night, Baldwinsville Christian Academy hosted their annual Spring Sports Banquet, during which time they honored the students and coaches in the soccer, basketball, and volleyball programs for all of their hard work throughout the season.

This year’s girls’ volleyball season was not far removed from last season, as they once again made it all the way to the playoffs and won the tournament runner-up trophy in the championship game with Cortland.

Toward the end of the season, Coach Thomas Tweedle instituted a libero position (or rather, that of a defensive specialist), and in that role Kristen Losier, with the team behind her, gave Cortland a real headache.

The boys’ volleyball team is even more impressive by virtue of the amount they improved since last season.  This season they made it all the way to the playoff game and stuck Cortland with a loss of two games in the match before they sadly lost the last three.  The boys have grown substantially this season, discovering new talents and abilities and working more like a team than ever before.

BCA girls' volleyball continues an excellent season

Baldwinsville Christian Academy has one practice left before the end of the season, and with playoffs only three weeks away, the girls’ volleyball team is still cleaning up.

BCA girls’ volleyball went undefeated so far this season until last night’s match with Cortland’s formidable team, but BCA is still in the running for the championships, likely as the #2 team in the league. BCA has one more match against Cortland to play next week, and according to their coach, Cortland is definitely beatable....
